Lanore joins Well Versed Comedy as a jack of all trades. She became a nurse at the age of eighteen. She received her BFA from DePaul University Goodman School of Drama with costume design emphasis. Then, she studied the ancient art of clowning with the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Clown College. She has been performing as a clown for over thirty years.
Lanore's interest in improv brought her to Second City and iO with Chicago improv legend Del Close. She has been sharing her passion for performing arts with two of her children in community theatre.
Lanore is a gifted performer with a very expressive face and a God given unique voice. Her quirky sense of humor and ability for physical humor, thanks in no small part to her three decades as a clown, help make Lanore a fun performer for all ages. She truly enjoys the way her characters connect with children.
Lanore's passion is to heal with laughter.
