Life Comes Down To Two Choices

Life offers two choices.

You can choose the option a majority of the world will choose. Ride the "fun" bus, enjoy temporary highs, never find true and lasting fulfillment. Meanwhile, never asking why the windows are totally blacked-out, making seeing the Light of day impossible to see.

Or...

You can take what seems to be the harder option. Climb the mountain. You know there's something awesome at the top, but it's not visible. You hear so much about joy, peace, and fulfillment for those that choose the mountain. But, it doesn't make a lot of sense. But, if you choose the mountain, you meet a lot of people who will support your journey. You always have access to the map to the top.

It's a hard climb, but more fulfilling than you can imagine. There are valleys and plateaus and caves. There are thorns and occasional obstacles. The One at the top of the mountain is with you, even until the end of the age. The one that owns the bus with the blacked out windows is constantly trying to trip you and make you wish you were on the bus. Even if that enemy cannot get you on the bus, he's sure going to slow your climb...and do whatever he can to make sure you don't bring anyone with you up the mountain.

To that enemy's chagrin, the higher up the mountain you are, the clearer you can see the destination for those on the bus. They can't see it because the one who runs the bus blacked-out the windows. But, you see it...you are at peace knowing that's not your destination, but you weep with the One at the top of the mountain for those about to perish.

If the destination for the bus was visible and the top of the mountain felt closer, the choice would be obvious and made easily. But, that's where faith comes in.

Do you put your faith in what you see now, ignoring what is being hidden and why it's hidden?

Or is your faith in the climb to the One at the top of the mountain, where pain, suffering, crime, and evil can never touch you or your family again?

Life's all about choice. What's yours?
