Family friendly, faith based improv team’s show Good for the Soul is a free admission, clean comedy show where a free will offering is taken to benefit the INK 180 Charity.

Lombard, Ill.: HaHaMen Improv is excited to feature INK 180 as their charity focus for the next edition of Good for the Soul, a clean improv comedy show at Fountain of Life Church in Lombard. The group’s sixth free-admission monthly show will be held on Monday, February 19, at 7:30PM.
HaHaMen Improv and Sketch Comedy Troupe, a faith-based clean comedy team based in the west suburbs, has been working hard to provide a fun night of comedy for Lombard and surrounding areas each month. Good for the Soul is free to attend and features a charity or cause for which a free will offering is available for participation. On February 19, Good for the Soul will be featuring INK 180 and its founder Chris Baker.
"So many people just fail to realize the pain and scars left behind from gang life, or from being held hostage in the world of sex trafficking. It breaks your heart to think that many cannot escape because of the physical reminders of that pain...but Chris and INK 180 are offering hope."
“Chris Baker has been doing some amazing work since founding INK 180 in 2011,” said Dave Ebert, co-founder of HaHaMen. “So many people just fail to realize the pain and scars left behind from gang life, or from being held hostage in the world of sex trafficking. It breaks your heart to think that many cannot escape because of the physical reminders of that pain...but Chris and INK 180 are offering hope.”
INK 180 is a foundation that works to cover up the tattoos that are left on former gang members and victims of sex trafficking. From Ink 180’s website, www.INK180.com, “INK 180 transforms the painful reminders of the destructive situations into beautiful art by covering the tattoos left from a former life in a gang or enslaved by human trafficking.”
Good for the Soul is held on the third Monday of each month and is free admission. Beginning at 7:30PM, HaHaMen bring an evening of clean comedy in the form of short form improv, like many have seen on popular television show “Whose Line is it Anyway?,” long form improv, and sketch comedy. At the end of each show, guests are invited to contribute to a free will love offering benefitting the charity or cause of the night.
INK 180: From their website: INK 180 transforms the painful reminders of the destructive situations into beautiful art by covering the tattoos left from a former life in a gang or enslaved by human trafficking. Chris founded the non-profit arm of INK 180 in October of 2011 to offer the opportunity for a real second chance to the least of these, the invisible, the forgotten, the discarded. Chris provides his time, supplies and artwork, entirely free of charge to former gang members trying to get their lives back on track as well as the victims of Human Trafficking. INK 180 is entirely funded by donations, no charge is ever asked of the people receiving Chris’ ministry. Find more at www.INK180.com.
